Humanoid robot hire for local authorities and institutions
Libella Robotics hires out a Unitree G1 humanoid robot, operated by its own team, for local authority and institutional events: opening of a public facility, forum, mayors' congress, science outreach event, congress. From €1,500 excl. VAT per half day, operation and set-up included, anywhere in France. Quote within 24 hours.
A public event brings together audiences with nothing in common: elected officials, families, school groups, local press, community organisations. A robotic set-up has the rare advantage of working on all those levels at once — spectacular for children, concrete for elected officials, easy to illustrate for the press. It is also a legitimate medium for science outreach, provided you tell the truth about what the machine does.

What matters in your line of work
Three questions people in local authorities & institutions ask.
Public procurement has its rules
Depending on the amounts and the organisation, a service goes through a simple quote, a consultation or a formal procedure. We supply the documents usually requested — detailed quote, technical sheet, insurance certificate, administrative documents — and we adapt to your approval timetable, which is rarely short.
The audience is mixed, and often large
Children, elderly people, dense crowds: supervision matters more than elsewhere. The robot moves within a marked-out area, under the constant control of an operator able to stop the movement immediately. It is never an open-access set-up.
The expectation of educational content is real
At an outreach event, the interest lies not in the show but in what people learn from it: how the machine stays upright, what it perceives, who operates it, what it cannot do. Our operator is there to explain, not just to manoeuvre.
When the question comes up
- Opening of a public facility or building
- Forum, mayors' congress and conventions of elected officials
- Science festival and outreach event
- Open day at an institution
- Regional attractiveness and economic promotion event

At a trade show, attention is the scarcest resource. A Unitree G1 humanoid robot on your stand creates a natural gathering point: visitors stop, film and talk — and your sales team starts the conversation at the right moment.

What documents do you supply for a public contract?
Detailed quote, equipment technical sheet, professional civil liability insurance certificate and the administrative documents usually requested. Tell us the framework of the consultation when you first enquire: public approval timescales are rarely compatible with a late order.
Is the set-up safe with families and children?
The robot moves within a marked-out area, under the constant control of a trained operator, with immediate stop capability. It is never left open to public access. The precise measures are defined with the venue manager according to the layout and expected attendance.
Can it be used in an educational or scientific setting?
Yes, and it is a use we take seriously. Our operator explains how it really works — active balance, sensors, the share of teleoperation — and the machine's limits. Our public glossary documents these concepts and can be used as preparatory material.
Let's talk about your event.
Tell us the venue, the date and the format. We reply within 24 hours, with a written breakdown of what is covered — and we will tell you frankly if our set-up is not the right answer to your need.
