Humanoid robot hire for retail and distribution
Libella Robotics hires out a Unitree G1 humanoid robot, operated by its own team, for retail and distribution operations: shopping centre entertainment, store opening, brand activation in a mall, seasonal highlight. From €1,500 excl. VAT per half day, operation and set-up included. We also offer Fourcast, a media robot with 4 screens, from €3,000 excl. VAT per half day.
Retail measures everything: footfall, dwell time, conversion rate. Robotic entertainment is therefore judged on a simple criterion — how many people stopped, and how many then came in. It is the sector where the crowd effect is most directly readable, because passing traffic is constant and comparable from one day to the next.

What matters in your line of work
Three questions people in retail & distribution ask.
Shoppers in a mall did not come for you
Unlike at a trade show, nobody is there for your brand. They need a reason to stop, visible from the walkway and readable in a second. An adult-sized humanoid that walks can be seen above people's heads; a tabletop set-up cannot.
Everything depends on the centre management's authorisation
A shopping centre imposes its own time slots, zones, safety rules and accreditation process. This is handled several weeks in advance with the site's events team — it is often the real lead time for the operation, more than our availability.
A single day leaves little trace
A mall's footfall is renewed every day. Repeated half days during peak slots — Saturday afternoon, the day before a holiday — reach more people than a single full day, on a comparable budget.
When the question comes up
- Opening or reopening of a store
- Mall entertainment during peak time slots
- Seasonal highlights and promotional campaigns
- Brand activation in a concession or pop-up store
- Retailer convention and network seminar

Is authorisation from the shopping centre required?
Yes, always. The site's events team approves the time slot, the zone, the set-up and the safety conditions. We supply the equipment's technical sheet and the insurance certificate; allow several weeks for the application to be processed.
Can the effect of the entertainment be measured?
Using the indicators you already have: footfall counts, store visits, scans of a QR code if there is one. We promise no conversion figure — it would be unverifiable — but the set-up lends itself well to a before/after comparison over the same time slot.
How does it differ from the Fourcast media robot?
The humanoid draws the crowd, Fourcast carries the messages. Fourcast is a robot with 4 screens that moves through the walkways to display adverts, QR codes and offers, from €3,000 excl. VAT per half day. The two can be combined on large-scale operations.
