Event staging

Event staging means writing the running order of a moment (entrance, sequence, exit) rather than letting an attraction run continuously. It turns a permanent presence, which quickly becomes part of the scenery, into a moment the audience looks forward to.

An attraction visible continuously for eight hours stops being noticed after half an hour: visitors who arrive later see it as furniture. Scheduled appearances produce the opposite effect: each highlight gathers an audience, and the waiting itself becomes a signal.

In practice, this means a timetable: appearance slots, a prepared sequence, a gathering point, and coordination with the event programme (doors opening, a keynote, a drinks reception).

It is also what distinguishes a prepared service from simple equipment hire. The robot is the same; what changes is that a running order was written before the day.
